Hi.

Just wondering who has finished Happyland Xmas Edition. I haven't yet. I only got as far as Tops of Terror 3 or 4 (forget which one). The best password I have is for Maniac Mines 2, so each time I want to play, I have to start from that level, which isn't that easy to complete.

Any hints/tips/passwords, please post them here!

I find its easier to find things out on your own! One hint, make it a priority to find the blue balls rather than finish the level. I'd die to get all the blue balls than finish with life intact. This way you don't have to repeat levels so often.

I've finished it and got all the passwords, but I had to cheat (map editor) to find the sphere at the end of Manic Mines 3, although if I'd used more lives guessing where the tunnel was I would have found it.
Tops of Terror 3 is the last one, so you're nearly there. There are 27 H-landers there, so you have to get all but 3, so you have to do a bit of triple jumping.
If you want to see where everything is you can always use the map editor.

I have just finished it WITHOUT any cheating.
It is really a great game (definitely one of the best on the Depot).
There are not many Allegro games that can occupie me several days.

Happyland Xmas Edition is cool BTW :-) I just wish I had more time to play it.

I would like to extract some files from the Happyland datafiles. But when I try to open a .dat file with the grabber, there is an error. Are these files passwort-protected?

Forget it, I already got the passwort (you just have to look into Happy.exe... :-))
