(1.73) Addictive it is, like Pixelships. My advice to players is to buy an engine as soon as possible, everything else can wait.
Very interesting gameplay. It involves some circle-strafing (a la Doom), as well as dogfight where you have to intercept the enemies' path with sprays of fire. And it really looks polished like a commercial SNES game, indeed.
Age of Invasion
(v 0.68) Original, but one big complaint: It is slow!! You must spend 15 minutes building units (and allowing them to rest) even before thinking about attacking anything. An adjustable game speed scale would be nice.
Man, those sprites are HUGE! Very impressive work on gameplay too
F I E N D
Really great and scary game, it actually made me jump several times. Technically excellent: Scenery is multi-layered tiled with lighting! Footstep sounds depend on ground material!
Addictive is the keyword. With 160 different ships, you can play very long and never stop discovering new ones.
The Project 2
Very impressive technically. The graphics, lights, musics, help immerge in this Quake-like mood. Level 2 may seam a bit dull, but don't let it discourage you. The fixed placement of enemies gives, alas, a short lifetime to the game. One of the rare "free" games i will play again sometimes.
