IOTD: Atari ST GUI
Atari ST GUI
Atari ST GUI, by BitCruncher

With 8 mHz of computing power,
512 kilobytes to 4 megabytes of RAM,
a Blit chip,
and 4096 available colors;

The Atari ST.

The birth of Allegro. Still going strong.

I just I'm dumb!'d. Thrice.
Sorry if I was supposed to access this more seriously.

- Felix-The-Ghost

Haha that picture made me download an Amiga emulator :P

- Steve Terry

The original Atari ST did not have a Blitter, that's why Atari games did not have animation as good as the Amiga. It was the Mega 2 model that initially had a Blitter.

In those days, my biggest wish was for an 68000 machine with customs chips that had hardware sprite scaling and rotation...

But it never came :-(

Why don't you use AGUP Library (developed to Allegro), just to have a good GUI.

- Abdalla

Because AGUP doesn't help you make your time.
