IOTD: Wrestling Ring
Wrestling Ring, by Moonsdescend
This is a first attempted model of a wrestling ring for a project I'm working on. It was done in approx 4 hours using Blender. I'm quite proud of it seeing as though I have very limited experience with 3d modeling(and I suck at 2d  ).Naturally thoughts, criticisms and humorous observations are most welcome!
Nice! You could add some bumpmapping as well to get it a bit less artificial. - Kent Larsson

With the sides I'm going to try to add a material like the sides of a WWE ring, so that when someone takes a bump the material moves accordingly. I like the trampoline thing. If you've ever been in a wrestling ring that's kind of what it's like! - Moonsdescend
Hmm. Nice, but it's a bit shiny, especially the poles and the turnbuckles. Also it looks a bit too small. Will the ropes act naturally when someone bounces off of them? I hope to see your project soon! - Kauhiz
Not bad. But I think the bottom ought to be like a box because right now it sort of looks like a trampoline. Good luck with your project.  - biscuitz
Well, it seems little compared to actual wrestling rings, but as this one is not a common one, it's beautiful
