, by Kévin Renard
First, sorry for my poor english.
I am making with some other men a real time strategy game like starcraft but in opengl
So I have decided to use allegro and allegrogl for that
This picture is juste a screenshot of a test program which open a .3ds file and which draw it on the screen
So, more like Warcraft 3?
Looks nice. The rocky bottom is a bit blurry though. - William Heatley
Very impressive and very well done the model. How is the progress of the engine? I see that you didn't implement shadows yet.
Good luck with the project! - CascoOscuro
Looks promising! When will a demo come? - Ron Ophir
Very nice. It reminds me of something out of age of empires or empire earth. - Matthew C
I wouldn't worry too much about blurry textures, at least if your trying to make a 56k-friendly download. But that means lower-grade textures and fewer of them.
Anyhow, whether you up the texture resolution count or not, you need to edit the bottom rock/brick texture and make it repeat better. Needs a bit of "Photoshopping." Remember, the offset filter is your friend! - Michael A. Johnson
Showing us just makes us eager and impatient to see it!
- X Archon
Yea, sorry for the blurry textures butit's because I have used 256*256 sized bitmaps - Kévin Renard
