IOTD: xfighter, yet another space shooter
xfighter, yet another space shooter
xfighter, yet another space shooter, by flares

This is my current project called xfighter, is a space shooter but I hope to make it more exciting and give things that other shooters do not have, right now I just gotten up the frame work and gotten the player to move around and shot bullets, I been working a lot on the gfx, and that mainly right now what is my focus later on i will start coding the enemies. The overall design lies in a matrix style enemies and ships with hints of star wars every now and then. right now is nothing more than a mere shoot bullets and wacth stars scroll demo, but soon it will be very cool. The field is setup for the player to capture a lot of the screen space. This may or not be a good thing, but I am yet to find out. This is done in c++, and some c. Please give me any comment on what you think, and any improvements. Thanks

yeah sometime this or the beggining of next week today i was able to implement the spline curves to make the enemy paths more interesting, i'll trow out a demo when i am able to get the enemies and to move and some collision detection going. - flares
