State of the main addon |

In the process of making my game work cross-platform, I've inevitably reached the point where macOS must be tackled. Whilst reading the docs, I came across the main addon, which seems necessary for macOS. I've been linking with this for a while now anyway, presumably because I saw the words "cross-platform" and "no API" in the docs, and so just chucked it in. I now understand how (and why) it works, and how its usage can be avoided provided I'm willing to mess around with my main function. However, after looking at this thread, I'm curious as to the general opinion of it is at this stage - particularly as its counterpart issue is still open. Will it be forced static? Merged into core? Or perhaps deprecated? Or does nobody really care? ______________________________________________________ |

Pity post. Felt bad you didn't get any replies. However, OSX and OBJ-C are like foreign languages to me. I don't think I can help, and I can't test either.
