We technically do here in Canada as well.

Although, I'm always encouraging people to use YYYY-MM-DD :)
Always ISO 8601 when possible...

This is me as well.

Also, that format allows for Pi Day as well.

I'll use YYYY-MM-DD, but I refuse to adopt the ISO8601 standard.
