As you know, TINS is a 72-hour game programming competition using Allegro, very similar to Speedhack. TINS 2016 will take place in May this year. Please let me know in this thread which weekend has your preference. Friday May 13-Monday May 16 Early February I will add up all the +1's and announce which weekend it's going to be. P.S. Even if you're fine with all three weekends, let me know too! -- |

I don't have a preference: that far into the year, all weekends are equally suitable (or maybe not) for me. Just posting because I'm looking forward to taking part in TINS 2016! (Probably again.)

+1 to Friday May 13-Monday May 16. -------------------------------------------------------- Perhaps I should let you all in on a little secret. No one likes you in the future. This time period is looked at as being full of lazy, self-centered, civically ignorant sheep. -John Titor |

Any weekend would work (or not work) for me. I'm not really feeling up to doing a hack right now. I would sign up just in case, but I doubt I'll get anything done. --- |

Friday May 13-Monday May 16 or Friday May 27-Monday May 30. The middle weekend would be problematic for me. "For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increases knowledge increases sorrow."-Ecclesiastes 1:18 |

I second Gassa. For me, it is too early to say anything about those dates, they are still too far away in the future for being able to tell anything meaningful about them. By the way, are the TINS rules reused from Speedhack's Rule-O-Matic or are they kept in a separate database? Wow, that Shia person is annoying. I was busy doing it but he distracted me and now the mood has gone. -- |

Maybe this will help to cheer you up. I'm usually not planning that far ahead, so any of the three weekends is ok. As soon as it's decided I'll put it in my calendar. |

Great, good to see there is a lot of interest. By the way, May 30th is a bank holiday in the UK, but I guess that matters only for very few of you. By the way, are the TINS rules reused from Speedhack's Rule-O-Matic or are they kept in a separate database? They are kept in a separate database, that takes the form of a spreadsheet plus a randomization script. I still have a whole bunch of unused rules, but if you want to suggest any, please go right ahead. -- |

I have no preferences for the date at this point. I should be free to participate though. My Website! | EAGLE GUI Library Demos | My Deviant Art Gallery | Spiraloid Preview | A4 FontMaker | Skyline! As a Lurker I feel like my preference should be respected. The following weekends works for me: |

Here's the tally so far: Friday May 13-Monday May 16: 11 votes At this point it seems pretty clear that it will be the first weekend, but I'll leave it open for a few more days like I promised (maybe there is a last minute rush of votes?) -- |

May 13th sounds good to me. I'm not sure if I'll be able to 100%, but Friday the 13th FTW!!! "He who controls the stuffing controls the Universe" |
