Cats may not save the world, but they will save your mind. Post anything that will cheer up anyone. Preferable cat related. Preferable your own cat. {"name":"609162","src":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/a\/6\/a60cdd949d59d0ea791eccef3241d236.jpg","w":960,"h":720,"tn":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/a\/6\/a60cdd949d59d0ea791eccef3241d236"} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Years of thorough research have revealed that what people find beautiful about the Mandelbrot set is not the set itself, but all the rest. |

I don't have any really new pictures of my kitties. I'll post my newest... In this photo, there's a fat ass... And a cat. This one is a priss, but somehow doesn't mind sleeping on her back like a slob. Bah. I was going to post some more photos.. but I can't atm. -- |

Chris Katko wins the thread. No pictures but a story. A former roommate had two cats. One loved to play, and I played with him all the time. I came home one day, and he was stretched out at the top of the stairs. I crawled halfway up, laid low and waited. He came hopping down the stairs, sideways with his back arched as to scare me. Then he twisted his head and ran back up. By reading this sig, I, the reader, agree to render my soul to Bob Keane. I, the reader, understand this is a legally binding contract and freely render my soul. |

Unfortunately we had to say goodbye lovely little Spike today, as he was very poorly and the decision had to me made, and peaceful forever sleep was the best choice. Sleep well my little man, I'll remember all the good times x {"name":"609180","src":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/1\/c\/1c1d2a64c4c69762c21c1c00be4626f6.jpg","w":640,"h":480,"tn":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/1\/c\/1c1d2a64c4c69762c21c1c00be4626f6"}

He was a real character, and none of use expected this. I miss him so much. Little legend.

Alas, that would be against the rules. Would satisfy the OP at least. Cat people are delusional. My cat ("Princess") and I taken last year. She was over 20 years old at the time and she had already had a stroke. We ended up having to have her put down in July. This will be the first year without her and I miss her a great deal. --- |

Toby - same make and model as Thomas's cat if I recall correctly - woke me up by making a racket in the middle of the night. The "bib" is the lid to the cat food. {"name":"609184","src":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/8\/a\/8a04b2b7bad494557b8b0cca5dfb3ea0.jpg","w":3264,"h":2448,"tn":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/8\/a\/8a04b2b7bad494557b8b0cca5dfb3ea0"}{"name":"609183","src":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/7\/0\/70fb20ecb3e2d74ccc6189ef6f388aa2.jpg","w":3264,"h":2448,"tn":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/7\/0\/70fb20ecb3e2d74ccc6189ef6f388aa2"} __________________________________ |

Gideon Weems said: She was in it for the beard. Yeah, cats love beards. Anyway, 20 years is a great deal for a cat, she must have really been a warm cat...and by the way it's easy to get attached this much in said 20 years. Nice pic Nitehackr, casts a warm feeling.:) It is unlikely that Google shares your distaste for capitalism. - Derezo |

Gideon Weems said: She was in it for the beard. , probably. She would come into my computer room and bug me until I picked her up (usually by constantly rubbing against my legs). Then she would be laying there (in that pic, on my desk) purring away while I spoiled her yet again. pkrcel said: Anyway, 20 years is a great deal for a cat, she must have really been a warm cat...and by the way it's easy to get attached this much in said 20 years. She was, we had her since she was a kitten. Hardest thing I ever had to do was to have her put down. When I would lay on our couch she would crawl up on my chest and curl up close to my chin (beard again I guess) and fall asleep. We would like to get another cat but... honestly, I don't know if I could handle losing another one again. Anyhow, awesome pics, they're my favourite pet. I think Thomas is proving the whole cat<->beard theory. One more pic, from 2009, that's a sock filled with catnip in front of her. --- |

But he's gotten so big, that he can't do that much. Though he did when he was in super amounts of pain due to his teeth going bad. As much as I liked the extra cuddling, it worried me. -- |
