@William: Thank you for the in depth analysis. I did not plan ahead when I painted that one and it was my first oil painting ever, so that explains all the weird stuff going on. Eventually I just abandoned it.

@Dizzy: Thanks man.

@GullRaDriel: I made you draw? Oh yes, I remember now. I have this inspiring effect on people when I threaten to break their hands. ^^

@NiteHackr: I'd play it!

Now... no post shall be without an image in a doodle thread. So here's the other one I made today after I left the PC in frustration about how little line control I have when using a tablet.

I've done this applying a trick I learned from watching Stephen Daniele doing live concept art for Shroud Of The Avatar. The idea is to do a few quick iterations of an image instead of keeping to modify the same one over and over. Just quickly slap down some free-hand perspective guides, then put a new sheet of paper on top and draw over what shines through from below. Very simple. Very efficient.

So this is a concept doodle for my next oil painting:

I'd love to play NiteHackr's text mock-up on a Smith Corona word processor. The portable version could run on a Speak & Spell. :D

Dennis, you're extremely talented. Does it take much time to finish these drawings?

Dennis has always been my favourite a.cc artist. Now Dizzy makes company.

For those who know "Le Chat" from Geluck, he is stopping weekly publishing in our local newspapers.

They made a special newspaper for the event.

It's my contribution.

Cheers guys. I got home from work tonight and did this one; I might buy a drawing pad, as this is actually working out as a nice way to relax! Besides my wrist started to hurt on this one...

Keep trying to find time to draw, but end up programming instead. Will have to think of something to draw and post them tomorrow.

I disagree. Yes. :(

new 'doodle' (about 6 hours so it doesn't really qualify as a doodle anymore but meh)

I second that! Though I'd say Dizzy's images do show some character. Those three characters kind of have some personalities.

I was just thinking that this could be the base for telepathy.Think about it, a whole race that did not use sounds or body movements to communicate, instead they show each other images and they interpet the images back and forward.
note they have long moved pass physically drawing the images with paper and pen, their brains have addaped in a way to where each brain has some shared virtual memory similar to the screen bitmap we use is our allegro games. They send the images to that bitmap and the others can access it there and project it to the screen bitmap of others.

What if we have the same screen bitmap and our brains have been coping our thoughts to it with out us even knowing. we just dont know how to access it.
Dreaming and are work is the key to figuring out how to be a telepathy.

I agree man. I mean, its like, you know, we only use 10% of our brain, right? Humans could move things if they would learn to use the rest man. I mean, I estimated that I use, like, 20%, right... And I can see into the future. Dude, imagine what I could do with 50% man... It would be totally gnarly for sure!

Peace out and keep drawing, you guys are all ultra cool. Stick it to The Man!

We called this "mail". Now it has been supersededby an electronic form.
