I'd watch it, but I already have in one of the infinite universes. |

The time dimension fascinates me the most. Don't take yourself too seriously, but do take your responsibilities very seriously. |

I can't help but laugh at how much drama they attempt to force into the subject.

I guess this is what I'd post if I was 15 years old {"name":"8299557.jpg","src":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/d\/2\/d211736281a056228bf9045e7abeb3ad.jpg","w":400,"h":266,"tn":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/d\/2\/d211736281a056228bf9045e7abeb3ad"} |

Don't get me wrong, the subject matter is fascinating, but the presentation was obviously designed for an audience with a very short attention span.

I don't know about parallel universes, but I can prove the existence of at least one alternate reality. By reading this sig, I, the reader, agree to render my soul to Bob Keane. I, the reader, understand this is a legally binding contract and freely render my soul. |

I've watched video lectures on the topic and while they are more informative, they are less entertaining and not as easily digested. This is something you could watch with young teenagers and maybe foster an interest in science. Pretty cool, though. Better than watching Jerry Springer. Very interesting, ok, i'm trying to grasp the concepts. Don't take yourself too seriously, but do take your responsibilities very seriously. |

It's all mostly theoretical. How do you know he's hasn't been bluffing all his life. Neil. wii:0356-1384-6687-2022, kart:3308-4806-6002. XBOX:chucklepie |

superstar4410 said: So how does the conversion work? Well, the simplest equation that demonstrates this is from special relativity. The spacetime interval s (ie: some sort of distance in 4D space) is constant between observers 1 and 2 no matter what speed. It is the variables x,y,z and t that grow and shrink in order for this to be constant. Notice how I didn't just add space-like with units meters to time-like dimension with units seconds without first converting with the speed of light so that all are in meters. You can see this in 4-space and other places as well. Also time-like dimensions are negative and space-like are positive. I'm not too well versed in other theories but apparently this principle holds. You can also see that distance metric s^2 = 0 when travelling the speed of light. Photons have an interesting view of the universe. ------------- |
