Nice, how do you make the frames ? Do you keep parts of the guys each frame or do you copy & paste parts of it ? "Code is like shit - it only smells if it is not yours" |

I remember seeing clips on TV many years ago, showing cel animators moving a page rapidly back and forth as if they couldn't decide which page to look at, and if you did it 3 - 4 times a second it would work well enough to do the next frame of animation. They all watch too much MSNBC... they get ideas. |

Hi, everyone! After a long hiatus from Allegro I tried to participate in Speedhack. I couldn't do anything, but then I came back to the forums and saw this thread. I had some doodles hanging around so here they are! [EDIT] Sorry for the low quality, it's actually a photo taken with a crappy phone camera. {"name":"604619","src":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/9\/4\/9433158572cbc9a74218e53b52a0647b.png","w":717,"h":538,"tn":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/9\/4\/9433158572cbc9a74218e53b52a0647b"} -R |

Great doodles. Wonder what you will accomplish when you actually concentrate on the drawings. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Years of thorough research have revealed that what people find beautiful about the Mandelbrot set is not the set itself, but all the rest. |

I decided to get pretentious and sign mine too. I got bored of colouring it in so I just airbrushed the creature. {"name":"604654","src":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/e\/4\/e40a5d12892e7a7608d0df2a12e96e3a.png","w":1024,"h":786,"tn":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/e\/4\/e40a5d12892e7a7608d0df2a12e96e3a"}

Why do you think signatures are pretentious? As I see it, a signature is just meant to answer two simple questions the viewer of the image may have: who created it and when was it created --- same old subject, cheap watercolors/brushes on standard printer paper: --- 0xDB | @dennisbusch_de --- |

Been trying to do something like this for my site but it's still not good enough I don't think. This is my third attempt. {"name":"604666","src":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/1\/7\/176f8ca7b35b04b803cc349d6373f126.jpg","w":300,"h":400,"tn":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/1\/7\/176f8ca7b35b04b803cc349d6373f126"}

Another Sevalecan. This time not the real thing but a rendition of an enemy in one of my games that goes by that name. {"name":"604669","src":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/c\/9\/c957f6aa839390db1e94b097c66f10fa.jpg","w":969,"h":868,"tn":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/c\/9\/c957f6aa839390db1e94b097c66f10fa"} Second one is from the game. I drew mine from memory.

I made a scribble yesterday {"name":"line-mountains.jpg","src":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/0\/0\/0049f426afb2ec29b9b0716c0dbdeb03.jpg","w":800,"h":370,"tn":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/0\/0\/0049f426afb2ec29b9b0716c0dbdeb03"} I'm thinking of getting something meant for drawing for iPad... the program all of my posts in this thread were done with is a PDF/Note Taker app which is very limited (mores than MS paint or something like that.) Not that I'm blame my art on it, I'm sure someone with more skill could create really nice stuff with it.

I like that one James. It gives the feeling she's on an epic Wheel of Time or LOTR type journey. What quest is she on? I sense a good game idea coming. |

20 minutes or so of playing around with "Inspire Pro" for iPad gave me this: {"name":"604701","src":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/3\/7\/372908b1bb7530daf9e5f3ab6afa95bc.png","w":500,"h":493,"tn":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/3\/7\/372908b1bb7530daf9e5f3ab6afa95bc"} I haven't painted much (unless you count houses) but it feels fairly realistic. Eh, it's no masterpiece but it's better than the PDF program one.
