I love the Political Compass website and I retake it a couple times a year. I like watching how my views change as I learn more about politics and experience more of the world. If you're interested, take the test (it doesn't take very long) and post your results! Here is mine (BUG NOTE: The url isn't being passed correctly it seems, the y-axis value isn't being sent to the website): http://www.politicalcompass.org/facebook/pcgraphpng.php?ec=-2.12&soc=-2.62 My values are economic=-2.12, and social=-2.62. However, this thread is not for political discussions other than a short comment about someone's post. Please respect this request, and I ask that the moderators enforce this. Thank you very much! -----sig: |

I do respect your intellect, sir, but this means I have to assume your views in 2004 were fully learned or entrenched, and six years of experiences have not changed them. -----sig: |

I looked at the statistics ... am I really more liberal than democrats in office? Is that why all politicians piss me off? {"name":"statesbysenator.php","src":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/1\/4\/14b6566013cd58cdd995aa859606a86a.png","w":480,"h":400,"tn":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/1\/4\/14b6566013cd58cdd995aa859606a86a"} __________________________________________________ |

It is an interesting test, but it makes too broad generalisations to be really useful (for example, what is the connection between my opinion of sex and the economy/social liberties have to do with each other?) That said, here are my results for the heck of it: Quote: Economic Left/Right: -4.38

"Our race has many superior qualities, compared with other races." Is this supposed to affect the outcome of the test? |

A lot of the questions on this test were silly. But anyway, here's my results. My results: Economic Left/Right: -5.62 {"name":"600892","src":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/e\/3\/e3303794afe5a794685a6d805a907fb5.png","w":480,"h":400,"tn":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/e\/3\/e3303794afe5a794685a6d805a907fb5"} I considered myself more centrist. I was surprised. Dustin Dettmer has two results implying two personalities? I would have guessed he has none. By reading this sig, I, the reader, agree to render my soul to Bob Keane. I, the reader, understand this is a legally binding contract and freely render my soul. |

Not going to take it again, but the first time I took it I got about (-3, -6) and the second time about (3, -6). (These were a few years apart.) -- |
