Glad to hear these good news. I'm downloading this right now. My question is - do you plan adding skirmish or even multiplayer? [My website][CppReference][Pixelate][Allegators worldwide][Who's online] |

Multiplayer definitely no, its too much work. We needed this game to be completed as soon as possible to move to another project. We also don't have much spare time now. We plan to release level editor to make skirmish possible. Still the editor will not be something nice. It's just an ugly tool we used to make levels. --- |

Awesome. I've been waiting for the full version of this game for quite some time. The demo was very impressive, so I know this will be great. The download is pretty slow. Would you like me to provide a mirror? -- |

I'm downloading it now, but I'll probably be too busy to play until tomorrow or the next day.

http://solarimpact.servegame.com/files/prioritysurvive.zip There's plenty of bandwidth for the time being, so don't be shy. -- |

Hah, I guess it's too late to add feature suggestions... I just found some things missing in it that I sort of come to expect from strategy games. But in any event, I really liked the presentation and already played through the first two missions. Certainly will be playing it more later on... With just a little more work this game could easily have made a few bucks if it was released. I really enjoyed the game. Great job! "gut feeling the people in England are poor" -Samuli |

No problem. Based on bandwidth usage, it looks like it hasn't been used yet. Do you know how many downloads of your game you've had? The game is great (other than being near impossible to beat). With a few more missions and a bigger variety of units and buildings, I'm sure you (or your team) could sell it. -- |

I don't know how many downloads I have. I was too lazy to make any counters. I (and my team) don't think it is so easy to sell a game nowdays. Strategy without multiplayer is something that no many people would buy. --- |

I'll give it a try, but it will take me a few days to download it. Quote: Strategy without multiplayer is something that no many people would buy. Do you mean networked games or do you mean allowing multiple players on a single computer? I don't really care about MMO stuff. I've only played a few games online and they're usually full of people with cheat mods that ruin any fun that it could have been. I mean, playing on the LAN or over the internet. --- |

Well, I certainly don't buy games just because they have networked multi-player stuff. What I find valuable are good story lines, lots of levels with good action and a degree of skill necessary to complete the campaigns. MMO stuff is really extraneous to me. Just wanted to let you know that not everyone is concerned with having those capabilities in a game. LAN is cool, but I never use it. My 34% downloaded frowns upon restarting. I'll start over when the mirror gets updated as I can't download files that size from the allegro.cc server due to a limitation in GetRight or php or something. Looks nice. I'll test it when I come home. clovekx said: Multiplayer definitely no, its too much work. We needed this game to be completed as soon as possible to move to another project. Did you plan to release the sources? Maybe somebody can write a netgame patch or a less ugly editor. ----------------- |

http://solarimpact.servegame.com/files/ps-1.0.2.zip Version 1.0.2 mirrored. The older version is still there, as well. EDIT: I'm getting about 800kb/s download from my server, and only about 100kb/s from yours. Where is it located? -- |

WebZdarma is located in the Czech Republic. So that could be the problem in speed. [My website][CppReference][Pixelate][Allegators worldwide][Who's online] |

It took me 3 or 4 times to get the download to work. I finished all 6 levels. The key to most levels is cheap air power. Its a shame they did not finish coding the game. "gut feeling the people in England are poor" -Samuli |
