I've got quite a bit of buzz in me right now (i went there buzzed to begin and added some pitchers and shit on top of that).. Ended up going home early tonight. Pub closes in a few mins. Why the fuck are bar maids so damn hot. I saw this girl there that i used to see in high school. She's got a lame job so whatever, but damn... Being in engineering student, like a comp sci student, sucks donkey balls. Spend way too many days in the lab and occasionally we get out to party but there's no real place to pick up chicks. we got maybe 8% girls in engineering and we don't get out of the science department and labs much. Is there a place out there in the world where chicks are encouraged to do sciences? As i'm nearing graduation i find that some of these chicks i haven't seen in a while are suddenly interested. Some of them don't even hide that they are all about the money. Damn fuckers. btw.. i saw the end of the digitally remastered star trek. No longer will we see two pieces of fill stuck together. The space scenes are all cleaned up but not ala george lucas = bad. That was fucking awesome and i hope to see dvd's. ] edit: whoah. sorry for putting this in the programming section... ------------- |

You mean you're just now figuring this out? Most people I know who have girl friends or are married met their mate in school or at work. Guess what? We're screwed on all counts. Then the other factor is, most people meet girlfriends/wives from 'home'; when you graduate and move someplace else for a job, you're not going to know anybody but your coworkers and you won't have that 'social network' of people you knew in school/growing up. That makes it EVEN HARDER to meet girls. So, either get used to trolling in the clubs or be prepared to go it alone.... Edit; and drinking + internet == bad |

William, there are other things besides Star Trek... (damnit, when are these New Voyages people going to release their next episode?!) Since I don't have a TV connection and can't be bothered to look for these new episodes on the web, I'll be sure to get my hands on the DVD release when it comes out. |
