I'm not really one for blogging, but I have so much to say about Oblivion and thus decided to make a blog. I didn't put it on my own webspace (yet). The time it takes to install blogging software could be better spent playing Oblivion. It's a mesh of all stuff Oblivion. There will probably be lots of personal stories about my adventures in Oblivion, but mixed in with those I'll be including helpful information for other Oblivion players. Plus I've already made posts on there that are meant solely to give helpful information. Anyway, I hope fellow Oblivion players can find it helpful or entertaining. Yes, there are some spoilers on there, but nothing major and I try not to give too much away. It's hard not to give spoilers when you're trying to give Oblivion tips. But let me tell you, Oblivion is huge. You could read a million spoilers and still be surprised in the game. Okay, daddy has to get back to his game. {"name":"544812472266.jpg","src":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/4\/7\/47fa0180412044fb1e42d86692a55044.jpg","w":915,"h":360,"tn":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/4\/7\/47fa0180412044fb1e42d86692a55044"}

I'm impressed at how much this game makes for discussing... just makes me feel more like getting it. Though I probably won't. ---------- |

That game looks amazing! Perhaps it would be worth purchasing. Quote: The time it takes to install blogging software could be better spent playing Oblivion.
Wordpress has a famous five minute install you know. |

Quote: I'm impressed at how much this game makes for discussing... just makes me feel more like getting it. Though I probably won't. List of games i will never play, and look, Oblivion is on it. WoW, too. In fact, since the only games that seem to spark discussion on this forum are fantasy-oriented, what AM i doing here among these elvenpants losers? You don't deserve my sig. |

[whining]My copy still hasn't arrived. What's even worse is that it isn't even sure yet that it will soon, because there seems to be a supply shortage and even though I had preordered, it can't be said for sure that there will be enough copies for every order to get processed.(Hope they will reproduce more copies if the initial amount isn't enough to satisfy the high demand for the collectors edition.)[/whining] --- 0xDB | @dennisbusch_de --- |

How will your friend copy him-/herself? In some kind of high tech cloning machine? |

I finally finished the main story( main?)...not what I expected what would happen. Especially not what happened after it. Now I need to find out what else to do in the game with no main plot to follow! Quick question WH, where do you buy your lockpicks? |

If you join the thieves guild you can buy them from fences. Other than that search every corpse, barrel, box, etc, you see, they can usually be found there.

You don't really need a lot of lockpicks... I can pick any lock up to Hard without failing most of the time now. -- |

What skill level? I'm around 25 and burn a lot of picks trying to open Hard. Fences are really the only place to get picks. Trying to find them just won't get you enough. The fences will offer about 100 each, at 5 or 6 gold a piece. Here's a tip: Don't become a vampire! Do everything in your power to avoid it. I've spent my last two Oblivion binges trying to cure it. The quest for the cure is just horrid, and made doubly so by the fact that you can't do much of anything during the day.

Quote: What skill level? I'm around 25 and burn a lot of picks trying to open Hard. Security 50. I pick all locks manually by moving the same cylinder repeatedly, waiting for a round where it will move at a particularly slow speed, then click. I don't waste picks trying to hit the fast ones. It's better to keep moving cylinders until you're sure you can hit it. -- |

Hi Oblivion kicks serious ass. Bye. You can buy lockpicks at the dark brotherhood too I believe. The guy carries 30 at a time. |

But how do you know if it's going to move slowly? By the time you see if falling slowly it's already falling and thus you can't click it in. I've updated my blog with lots of goodies. More adventures as a vampire (I'm finally cured) and bloody battles in the Arena. Fresh screenshots, milked just this morning! I like the snow in this game...

Owned by Inphernic. Funny how sided people get about this game! You either love it to death...Or pray for its death. I really love the painted world! I wish there were more to it! ^_^ But the game is really gorgeous!! |

Hate is such a strong word. I don't hate it, but it's a lackluster game in my opinion. You could probably say that I'm just taking a more critical approach to it than most. -- |
