It runs in AGP 4x mode and has universal AGP connector. I think I bought it somewhere end 2002, if not beginning 2003, if that helps. It's a gainward. ________________________________________ |

I'm not really any good at anything electrical, but this article on "How to Volt-mod your GeForce 4" seems to imply that voltage varies from card to card within the GF4 range. So we're likely going to need to know if you have an MX or Ti and the model number. Otherwise, it does seem to state that a Gainward Ti4200 has a 1.65v startup voltage and despite some mention of numbers around 3, seems to stick to the 1.<something> voltages for discussion otherwise. Most probably it's 1.xV. The last 3.3V AGP card I've seen is my 3dfx Voodoo 3 with a whopping amount of 16MBs of VRAM. EDIT: Quote: What's the problem?

All Banshee, Voodoo3 and Voodoo5 AGP Cards are 2xAGP 3.3V only! Only the retail 3dfx built Voodoo4 4500 AGP is 4xAGP 1.5V capable. The paragraphs above talk about 3dfx Voodoo cards, but it seems like that AGP buses up to 2x probably use 3.3V while 4x and up use 1.5V voltage. |

maybe I should have been more explicit, something like: anyway, glad you understand it now ________________________________________ |
