When programming my average windows count generally increases, then so does my firefox tab count. I hate when I can no longer see the names of the tabs... TeamTerradactyl: SevalecanDragon: I should shoot you for even CONSIDERING coding like that, but I was ROFLing too hard to stand up. I love it! |

I don't have a problem with non-chat windows as I can leave them unattended, but people at the other side of the chat window demand constant attention, which at work that is an annoying thing usually. ----- |

hehe, I am just used to my pc being a mess. I go for weeks without rebooting at a time, so it takes me 10 minutes to close stuff out just to reboot This is what my firefox looks like. And I have session saver on, so I have to slim down when it gets to being like this so I can load ffox in less than 30 seconds And yeah, I am using SciTE. |

Ugh, that is awful I have different profiles, so the Default profile has nothing installed, the WebDeveloper profile has things like Checky, WebDeveloper Toolbar, MeasureIt, HTML Tidy, EditCSS, etc, the Standard (which then is copied as my profile until I do something wrong with my profile and delete it and copy again from Standard) has some extra themes and extensions (Mouse Gestures, Adblock, etc), and the Testing profile is where I install new extensions to see if they are good or not. It also has GreaseMonkey (I am finally getting some good scripts!). And all of them have Crash Recovery extension, MUCH better and safer than SessionSaver. It does something I have dreamed so many times before: saves what you have written in a textbox if the browser crashes. I repeat: Best. Extension. Ever. -- |

and it saves your sessions? What if you close the wrong window? I've closed the wrong window and left one with like no tabs open and lost all my tabs (or left the downlaod window open). Anyway, if anybody is interested, here is a shot of bafix v0.0.2 running on my gba (loaded off my homemade PIC based multiboot cable). BAFIX is a *nix-ish thing for the GBA I am writing. The screenshot that shows scite some posts up shows some of the bafix code |

The tabs are saved regularly, so it happens in both cases. -- |

I know that I've had troubles with not being able to access the nvidia device or something when I was using Linux - I had to enable wrx for 'world' else only root could access it, and then it worked. Couldn't this be a reason? |

Nah, when i login as other users all my WMs just restart. I probably messed up some configuration file somewhere. When FC4 comes out I'm gonna do a re-install. |

Okay, I'll post, only because I put a bit of work into making this XP install look not-so-ugly (the main reason I like KDE better than XP is that the former is prettier): -- Ryan Patterson - <http://cgamesplay.com/> |
