There is nothing wrong with dating sites in later life, but I wouldn't recommend them for people around 20 years old. If you're that age, just having any kind of advert on a dating site screams "desperate". If you need help with dating, a much better place to go is here. -- |

A few years ago me and a couple of friends left some want ads on a phone-in singles message board for fun. The other two had a bet; whoever had the least after a week had to get the other drunk I think we once conned my sister into leaving an ad on there just so we could listen to the pathetic guys who responded -- |

What is wrong with you all? You shouldn't be laughing at people who are "desperate"! These are people who may be lonely, sad and depressed. Internet dating is a great place for shy people to meet too, get some confidence.

Actually, a few people on GameDev tend to recommend putting your picture up there if you think your ugly. You'll get a lot of outside opinions in short order which are generally pretty positive. I'm sure everyone thinks they're uglier than they really are -- |
