This post highlights (or did highlight) what may be considered a slight bug on allegro.cc. Mozilla allows me to copy and paste a block of text including a smiley, and the text equivalent of the smiley will appear in the text on the clipboard. I assume it uses the ALT field for this.

The sequence for entering "8-)" is
8-)But the value that gets copied and pasted is
8)
Should be easy enough to fix :)
