That is a custom function defined by allegro in cmake. Something else is wrong, like the cmake version or the allegro version.

okay thanks. you've confirmed what i already suspected. i'm currently diagnosing the problem with cmake as the problem seems to be there.

off topic: by the way. i don't see any other posts here, is that because they're too old? can someone fix that? i'd love to be able to look through old posts.
