Today I wanted to connect my headphone to my laptop. But the phonejack would not go in anymore.
Investigation revealed that somehow a grain of silica (the stuff you get with camera's and other electronics in a "sugarbag") got stuck in the audioport.
I tried to get it out, but to no avail...:-/
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
Can't get it out with a needle?
Compressed air can
Try the garden hose if you don't have a pressure washer
@Torhu :I do have a kärcher, I bet it comes out 🤣🤣🤣
Vacuum cleaner?
Saw?
Soldering iron and a replacement port?
A microdrill and some compressed air did the trick
Pics or it didn't happen.
Kind of too late for that. I'm sure he can show you a pic of an empty socket.
