I was wondering if there is an allegro discord to discuss issues and changes?
I joined #allegro-dev irc but is not very active.

There is also #allegro on freenode on IRC, where you can join the fray and talk to developers who spend time there.

#allegro-dev is infrequently used, and mainly by developers like Siege::Lord.
