@Bob Keane : It's like a common FPS game.

It's just getting in and playing. You may want to go into keyboard/mouse options to get an idea and/or modify.

But it is the usual, arrow keys to move, shoot with Ctrl key or mouse click, Space to act, and number keys to change weapons. Escape key for menu.

I don't own Doom and haven't played it since it first came out. I remember getting pretty far but the eye strain would kill me. Especially watching other people play.

It's not even clear to me what I need to play this. Doom or Doom II?
