Allegro 5 Manual
LennyLen

I'll be working offline for a little while (until I can get a USB wifi stick) and want to do some programming. Does anyone have a downloadable copy of the A5 manual?

You could also grab the entirety of Allegro's website via https://github.com/liballeg/liballeg.github.io, it's only 15MB!

Yes, but then you get even more links that won't work :P

The PDF will do perfectly.

I have a CHM version if you're interested :

Thanks. That's more useful than a PDF.

Fresh off the press : Allegro 5.2.4 CHM Manual

CHM? Holy crap that brings back memories. I used to LOVE finding CHM references for HTML 3.x, Allegro, and others, and just sit there reading through them as if I would stumble upon some amazing trick I didn't know about that would make my games even better.

Like crazy stuff like compiled sprites which have almost 0.0000000001% usage these days.

Hold on. The latest CHM Manual I put out is missing the Displays section, which is pretty important, as I just found out.

I'll see if I can fix it and re-release it.

EDIT

Attached is the new 5.2.4 CHM Manual
