The Windows implementation of the native dialog addon does not yet support Unicode.
Maybe use a windows function like this:
MessageBox(al_get_win_window_handle(display), "Caption\n", "Title", MB_OKCANCEL);
It supports unicode but you might have to change it from the example I posted above. Read more here.
