I don't know how serious he is about it, but it would be cool to be able to program on a handheld that I can afford
I wasn't taking it seriously until the notes in small print at the end. Now I'm just confused.
- Edit -
Looks like he has a "wiki" too. http://the-nd.com/wiki/Main_Page
It would be cool if this ever hit the market :p
If I wasn't waiting for my Pandora I'd get one of these!!!
Apparently they are using (or intend to use) SDL. It would be nice if Allegro was an option too...
SDL

Yea, I though it looked stupid, I just didn't wanna say anything.

(j/k, it still looks awesome)
Looks as dumb as DNF.
Am I missing missing some subtle irony from the posters here, or some awesome features of the apparatus in question...?

It costs TEN FRICKIN' DOLLARS! Can you imagine how many moms might buy their kid something like this just to shut him up? OTOH, I shudder to think of going back to a 16 bit system.

No way! Those were the good ole days
Remember when SNES was a console, and cheap portable games were those LED pieces of crap? Everything's just stepped up.
There were plenty of crappy NES/SNES games. Most were bad.
However, the ones that were good are still more fun than the good games today.
I think I remember playing the football version. As the batteries got weaker, it was easier to win.
There were also a ton of excellent Japanese SNES and Genesis games that were never localized for consumption elsewhere. Damn shame, that.
