Hello,
Anyone here with a xbox/windows live account and wants to share gamertags for online playing? Mine is in my sig (chucklepie) and I'm currently (mainly) playing burnout paradise with sprinklings of COD WAW, but can be found playing N+, marbleblast ultra and a few other live arcade games.
Mine's Samster33. Of the games you listed I only have N+. I also have Gears of War, GTA IV, Guitar Hero 3 and Settlers of Catan.
You have a friend request
I have gears of war (1) too, but find the multi-player dreadful. As in, tiny map and each game lasts about 10 seconds.
You should get burnout though, by far the most fun I've had playing a game in a long time. There's just something good about going online, smashing into a dozen other people then popping over the the stunt-track to do some challenges then off for a race round the streets
Here's some gamer tags. I have N+ too, but I haven't gotten to play anything in a while.
Thanks, I have blargmarg already, but he changes his gamer tag every week
Gamertag: BinaryGrind
PSN: BinaryGrind
Wii Code: ewww...
Haven't really played on live for a bit, mostly because I have to run a 50 meter LAN cord that tends to trip and kill people. I've mostly been playing Halo Wars and LittleBigPlanet.
Steam: MiquelFire
Got Wii Code, don't know it off hand (who would?)

Wii friend codes are the stupidest thing ever, its the most esoteric way of identifying someone since compuserv and maybe ICQ.
PSN: CompanionCube
Steam: bamccaig

yes, and to add to that since we got live the wii has hardly been touched by me or the kiddies (I know I shouldn't let an 8 year old play Call of Duty Nazi Zombie online, but he does like it and knows that violence is wrong and you should only ever kill zombies or Germans).
I think there are two reasons for the decline of the wii (apologies for thread diversion) over the xbox:
1. Setting up friend codes is just too long winded
2. The virtual arcade and wiiware does not offer trial versions
My major gripe of live and a missed trick for MS I think (financially and given they want to penetrate the casual/family user) is that you have to buy a gold account for every profile. We only have one xbox buy MS expect me to pay 5*£34. What they should do is offer a family gold where multiple users can use the live features if they are on the registered xbox. I'd be more than happy to pay more, e.g. £50.
I'm possumdude0 (can't remember if the "p" is capitalized or not). But right now my Xbox has the Red Ring of Death, so I won't be playing for four to six weeks (at least).
My mate just got the red rings. He had to ship it to Germany (from UK) and he got it back in under a week.
Steam: CursedTyrant (I know, very surprising
)
Since we are adding Steam accounts into the mix as well:
Samster33
There's a group for Allegro BTW.
