I just got done posting a big "article" on my site about my poker game tonight.
It's rather funny, but I almost feel sorry for the victims of my attack.
They played terrible - I made sure of it - and gave me soooo much money. It's definitely the most amount of money that I've won in 25 minutes at a $5/$10 limit game
Was I too mean? They were so angry with me..
Thats classic
Pocket deuces called me Harry Potter.
"Just look at Harry Potter over there"
When he called against my aces he said "Ok there, Dumbledorf". He was sooo mad.. so was someone else across the table, and the guy who sat beside deuces
Success!
You say you play poker and can't spell deuce right?
I thought it looked funny.
Should have spell checked it.
400% profit, not bad for one hour
You da Man D.!
I have no idea what happened!
I played poker with a bunch of young people acting like I was Gollum. Saying things like "We" instead of "I", and incorrectly making things plural like "Wins" and "Cardses".
I said some rather insulting things about the other players, too. Calling their plays "silly" and such.
The voice I make sounds rather close to that of Gollum from the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Nasty fat cardses!
The long winter nights must just fly by..
My only question was this at an actual casino (or whatever you peeps have in canada... America's Hat) or was it online?
I'm pretty sure Derezo plays in a real casino.
Real casino. I quit playing online.
Online poker isn't as profitable, you can't manipulate people in the same way, and it's not nearly as much fun. It seems like players at the casino are a lot worse, too. They rarely slow play, rarely check-raise, and most of them don't know much about pot odds and counting outs.
Notes aren't enough, either. At the casino I can see their faces and remember how they play.
Real casino's don't have the financial transaction delay, any type of limitations, and the rules are more strict about who can play, how much they can play with, and what they can do or say. Collusion is nearly impossible. You know when someone is drunk and feeding money to the table, it's easier to realize it when someone is bluffing far too much, and you grow more accustomed to frequent player's strategies.. unlike online where there are so many frequent player's it's too hard to remember them.
You lose less money by knowing a player's holdings according to their previous plays (way harder online) and you profit more money by knowing that the drunk guy on the button is going to bet if you check before him, which allows you to raise.
Speaking of online casinos, did you ever finish configuring that bot and test it?
Derezo, if you're ever in Edmonton, we should make a weekend of stripping stupid people of thier money
