Bit of an odd request this one...
Does anybody know of a true type font that is evenly spaced horizontally? That is, the 'W' character has the same width as all the others?
Thanks
Moving Shadow
Courier.
Courier New.
Bitstream Fixed.
Bitstream Vera Sans Mono.
Lucida Console.
You're looking for a monospace font. There are plenty available aside from the usual suspects provided with Windows.
Cool thanks

What's wrong with the default Allegro font?
Apart from not being true type?
OH! So now you're too good for it? I see.
Err, no Johnny, be a good girl. I use Allegro Font text library and therefore need....wait for it.....a True Type font.
Go and dust some victoria sponge or something.
AllegroFont does not require TrueType font. Glyph Keeper does though, so if you upgrade to Glyph Keeper you can use this logic.
You know, I like toast.
Toast is the greatest inventions since sliced bread.
The BIOS font is ugly anyway.
Moving Shadow, you shouldn't be rude to people who are helping you.
Karadoc: He wasn't helping me.
Just in general. I've read your posts in other threads as well.
Also, what you say to one person here also spills over onto others.
I'm having trouble thinking of the right words - Consider the following hypothetical situation: you are in your house with your parents. Your Dad says to you "I don't really like that shirt."
So you say to him, "get stuffed, arsehole."
You have not only offended your father, but also your mother.
Now, I very much doubt that you'd actually put yourself in that position, but hopefully you see my point. All I'm saying is that even if Jonny Cook wasn't really helping, he meant no harm, and your response was inappropriate.
Come on Karadoc,
OH! So now you're to good for it? I see.
was pretty rude.
And poorly spelt!
Is it smiley-free week again?
For what it's worth, I also thought Jonny Cook overreacted.
"OH! So now you're to good for it? I see." - was a bit tense because - "Apart from not being true type?" - did not answer this question: "What's wrong with the default Allegro font?", but rather assumed ignorance of the asking person. While perhaps he (Jonny) was simply curious.
"Err, no Johnny,"
Also to misspell people name is rude.
Perhaps it would have been better if I had said "lolololol jk jk

" after my comment. It was only meant to be a joke.
Well I was heartbroken. And now I've made others cry. What a day.
Also to misspell people name is rude.
Heh heh... it's a good thing I don't take offense to that. Remember kiddies, there's only one "r" in my handle!

I knew that you were joking. I thought it was obvious that you were joking; and if I hadn't thought it was obvious that you were joking I would have said "by the way, I think he was joking" in my previous post.
Oh well.
Remember kiddies, there's only one "r" in my handle!
We knew that Scirocko
.
Hehe
Yea! Lets have a fight
BTW, Toast is ok for a while, but it took the Earl of Sandwich to make bread truly the great versatile product it is now.
Neil.
Is this a bready question?
Chicken! Ahahahah! I'm gonna eat youuuuuu!
I'm gonna eat you little fishy!
Christ! I almost fainted there. X-G made a joke. Can we store this thread in the archive before people start disbelieving me when I mention it in a future thread.
Neil.
I remember typing in all lowercase & then all uppercase then the digits & punctuation in Wordpad, then hitting print screen to copy to clipboard, then pasting to mspaint more than once to steal the true type fonts. Stole cards from solitaire the same way;)
Yep, I've done the card theft as well! Good old print screen...
