I must say: Wow. As a Metroid fan this is definitely one of the coolest fan-based game thingies I've ever seen. I literally just stumbled upon this while looking for Metroid related images. Check it out, it's quite elaborate and amazingly cool.

It's awesome, but taking forever to load.

Yeah, it's a little on the slow side and if you try to do too many things it can tweak out. At least, it tweaked on me. Pretty cool how you can just place yourself at any location on the map. Heh. I think one of these days maybe I'll play the original through (this version) without just opening up the menu and giving myself every item.

When I saw this I thought: "Wouldn't it be so cool if.... Wait a minute. A remake was already made of the original Metroid!"

hahaha

What's sad is that I own it and have beaten it... more than once. Way to have a memory lapse.
