I would like to make some money with programs I've written myself. ( I want that CANON 25-105 USM L lens ;-) ) I don't have time to build a webshop myself... any advice is welcome.. Perhaps one day we will find that the human factor is more complicated than space and time (Jean luc Picard) |

Have you considered joining one of the big 3 -- Google, Apple, or Microsoft -- and selling your application (or "app") using whichever platform? That's the easiest way to let the system do much of the heavy lifting for you. "He who controls the stuffing controls the Universe" |

If your software is any good and it runs on Windows, you should consider Steam. It's by far the biggest Windows games marketplace and it also sells non-game apps. I tried selling a game on itch.io a while ago and even the free version barely had any downloads. Then I made a couple of grand in a month on Steam, and it was just a crappy 10-year-old game re-launched on Steam. |
