Author's Description: I don't know really in which category to put my game. It is obviously a 2D action game, sort of mixing beetween kind of space shooter and a race for stabbing... and all with the conjonction of zelda and castlevania themes. Well, all of this give finally... a real mess.
I named first this game Project A and it had lots of versions since my first development in Borland turboC++ 3.0, nearly 2 years ago. I put it then in DJGPP/Allegro to gain fluidity, control of timers, and to add music and sound. But the name project A is already very used in the web, so I finally turn it to project Afrey.
So there are 8 levels with differents ennemies. The speed of the game depends on the level. Level 4 and 8 are a race for stabbing the ennemy. There are music and sound and the controls are simple with the arrows keys for moving, and the space bar (when you are showing your back to your enemy, levels 1,2,3,5,6,7) to shoot or draw your sword.
The keys for cheating are F1 (for visiting levels 1,2,3,4 without dying) and F2 (for the levels 5,6,7,8), which must be pressed in the "Alex word's of wisdom" page, but cheating give no score so no hall of fame.
