Author's Description: LightSword Bowling was a program that I put together as part of project for my CSI 155 (C++) college course. I wanted a cool game that I could show on the projector on the screen to show off some of the cool things you could do with C++ besides
textmode programs. The game proved to be pretty fun so I decided to release it over the net.

It supports:
*Up to 6 players max.
*Full compliance with the standard rules of of 10 pin bowling.
*6 characters from my unfinished RPG, Contention's Spawn
to choose from.
*Groovy 2D graphics and animation.
*Linux (source code), Windows, and DOS Versions.

I'm looking for someone who wants to make sound effects for this game (being that mine are always crappy), Email me if interested.

Public Opinion
Overall Rating: 8.0
  • 6Graphics are good, but I'd really like a higher resolution. (Get rid of the useless background effect, if necessary.) Gameplay is good, but lack of sound effects and decent menus lower the overall impression.
  • 8A school project? Amazing work. I wish I had that kind of talent when I was taking C++. Great game, fun, and graphics are what you can expect for a bowling game.
  • 10Nice little game :) Some cool background music would enhance it a bit ;)
