Author's Description: The sequal to LANDER!, featuring larger (HUGE!) levels, cooler graphics, and hopefully runs faster, too :P.

This game was originally made in 2003 while I was in class in college. See, they gave us laptops (paid for by tuition of course) so that we could take notes or something. Everyone played video games with them instead. I programmed video games.

As of September 2008, the code has been refreshed and completely revamped. It is now quite maintainable as opposed to the previous pitiful state it was in. I hope for a major release before year-end.

  • 9I found it to be a damn hard game, but it was great fun, too. I like the meters that give you an idea of your 'velocity'.
  • 8It was well done. It's simple, yet challenging at times. It forces you to think before moving, which adds a nice level of strategy to the game. Great job with the simple yet colorful graphics, which turned out great. It kept my attention so that's a plus also. Once again, good job.
  • 9Good physics. I enjoyed the simple but effective graphics. There seemed to be a few bugs, but what game dosn't? Very addictive and fun. Good job.

StevenVII have been writing software and making video games for as long as I can remember. When I was 14 I discovered Allegro 3.1 and spent many subsequent years working with the library. I currently hold a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Mathematics. Upon graduation I entered the professional video game industry, and get paid to do what I love. While I do not currently believe that Allegro is an appropriate library for today's games, it still holds a special place in my heart. (View Profile)
