| The three body problem |

In academia, there is a well-known problem called the "two body problem". This occurs when two people ("bodies") are locked in a close orbit and one (or sometimes both) of them is attracted to a chaotic external orbit (the job market) and the other body has to follow the first around. Mother and child are still in hospital, but should be coming home on Tuesday. |
