kenmasters1976, your Self Control replay is nuts! I've only watched it once, so I haven't worked out the details of how you did it, but I can see you that "faked" using the time pads. That's something that I was recently talking to Renboy about but I hadn't really thought of any good use for it. As for those stacked replays. Those are very fast. You may not be getting zero paradoxes, but I don't think I'd be able to beat those times even if I did manage to get zero. I've got a suggestion about the replay system in general, although I suppose it is a bit too late seeing as the official release was today... but I'll say it anyway. Currently, the episode of each replay is identified using the filename; and replay filenames must be of the form: "Ep#_Replay#.dat". In my opinion this makes it awkward to watch other people's replays. You always have to pick some number which won't conflict with your own replay numbers, and it is hard to keep track of which replays are yours and which are downloaded. My suggestion is that each episode could have its own replay subdirectory (temporal/replays/episode1, etc). That way the file name constraint could be relaxed so that all filenames are permitted, as long as they are in the right directory. Then I could name my replays, for example "ep18 hard way.dat", or "ken.dat". That's all. I'm playing through the official version now. When I unlock "Stacked" (whatever its name is) I'll see if I can get my 0*P action going for you. ----------- |

Sorry for giving away the trick you used in your replay... I didn't really pay attention to the time that the other beta tester got, just to the funky solution itself. About replays. Hmm. And now for something different... |
