Hello,
Does anyone know using current user stats when user number 10,000 will possibly be online. Maybe we should give out a prize like they do in the supermarkets or something ;)

Congradulations on being our 10,000th member.
To be eligible for the grand prize you must write an extensive monday post and post it 3-4 times in different sections of the forums.

98% of the people who sign up never do anything. At all.

They lurk. Then they find what they need to know without asking, then they leave.

Are we going to have this discussion with every thousandth user?

They didn't need to create an account for that :P

If this particular user happens to be classed into the 'stupid n00b' category, we should reward them by halving the intensity of our flames. Alternatively, if they post a Monday thread, we should all offer to help.

Which XKCD comic was that?

Your question confuses me. That posted comic is the which one you seek, is it not?

Prize for the 10k user? You award them a free copy of Allegro, of course!

They all watch too much MSNBC... they get ideas.

I said:

As provided by 23yrold3yrold's link , it was comic #322. I guess I never saw the search field. Thanks for the link , that one gets added to my "humor" bookmark folder.

We should give the 10,000th user a link to XKCD!
That's one of the big bonuses for being a forum reader here anyway. :D

Regarding Neil's: It's okay. Nobody gets help about Java from IRC.

At least not from any of the #java channels.
