Got my phoneline today (no ADSL yet) so I just connected via Dial-Up to inform you that the move last thursday went all well and that I'm alive and in good health.:)

I'll post pictures of my place as soon as I get ADSL(already ordered).

(Got to disconnect now, Dial Up is expensive.:P)

Don't they have a German equivalent to Freeserve where Dial-up Internet access is free?

It's "Reeperbahn"(pronounces close to "ray-pair-ba(r)n"(don't speak the r)). I know where it is(from the map) and I walked along it once(before I moved to Hamburg though) but I haven't really "been" there.;)

Unfortunately I don't know of any such service. I remember having searched for it already, when I still only had dial-up access back at my parents place.

Hehe, I don't even have an account on gamedev. I didn't want to answer to not hurt either side. (if you really have to know: I called my parents first, but not to tell them that I'm alright(they already knew, because they helped on the move) but to tell them my phone number.)

Could be days, could be weeks. Order processing tends to be slow at the german T-Com.

I am moving tomorrow from 38m2/400€ appartment to 27m2 400€ appartment :O
Tough luck.

But month from here i'll move from 27m2 to 44m2 350€ appartment with sauna. Nice.

I have my 36m^2 245e (including parking) apartment, to which i can return to after one more month in this hellhole (a 20m^2 room with a shared kitchen, etc). Moving is fun. yay.
