Update about my previous code |

I'm creating a new thread because the allegro.cc won't allow me to reply to the old one. Any way I've fixed a few minor bugs in the blit code I posted a few weeks ago and I finally created a diff patch as well. The only problem is that it is bigger then I expected. I made some other changes that should probably get a look over as well. Oh yeah and the changes I made to the Mode-X blit functions should probably be left out all together. I just don't know enough about Mode-X to create something that blits efficiently. I'm posting the diff here because it's big and I don't want to send it to the dev list if it would just annoy people and I don't know enough about diff yet to make any edits to the file. Someone please give me some advice. Is some or all of the code usefull and worthy of a patch to Al 4.2? What should I do with it? I'm sure this new patch works 100% but then again I'm only 99.99% sure. I fixed the 24 and 32 bit MMX errors where the last few pixels were not drawn and I'm working on a test program that will graph out the speed vs. bitmap size/alignment to give a nice visual representation of all the blit functions performances. almost forgot the diff is attatched here if I did it right. ---- |
