About The Dragon of Shiuliang: A small, peaceful RPG made by a group of first year college students. This was the first project completed by CMU's Game Creation Society. See the readme.txt for full credits. The basic engine design was inspired by the NES classic Dragon Warrior.

Full source is included in the zip file.

About the developer: Spent 7 months making an experimental web game every day at my old website, http://interactionartist.com. Co-founder of the Game Creation Society at Carnegie Mellon University. Served as either project lead/producer, solo developer, lead designer or lead engineer for more than 40 independent games in the past decade. Helped develop http://playcrafter.com, designed/programmed Topple on iPhone, and currently helping others learn to make their own videogames via http://gamedevlessons.com .

  • 8It was an okay game. It's a little too slow for my liking, though. I noticed that if you walk into a locked door with someone on the other side and you try to talk to them, you'll get pulled through the door and end up on the other side.
