 Vertigo is a flight simulation with
focus on realism of the flight model.
Several aircraft are modelled: F-14 Tomcat, F-4U Corsair, F-104 Starfighter, U-2, Harrier, SAAB MFI-17, X-15, Lunar Lander
Situation includes carrier landings high altitude test flights,
moon landing, gun target practice and more.
The simulation is fairly complete, but there are zillions of ways to enhance it.
 Simulation of moving through a wormhole in space. Very cool to stare at for a couple hours. Can be used as a real windows screen saver. Just copy the .scr into your /windows/system or system32 directory!!

 This is a protein molecule display tool written in C++, which uses the 3D part of the Allegro engine. Although many other protein display programs exists, the Ramachandran Plot Explorer is meant to be simpler, more interactive, and hopefully better looking. I've tried to write the program in a modular way so that if you liked the 3d graphics engine, for example, you can just take it and use it as is.
 Flight sim, no honest it is... no ok it isnt but its a laff! A clone of the Intellivision Biplanes from the Tiple Action rom and a clone of Biplane Duel on the amiga ;o)

 A skinnable "eyes" application. Add some personality to your desktop with this nice little program. A skin can have from 0 to 32 moving pupils, the skin is hot-pluggable.
From a coding point of view, the interesting part was to create the irregular shaped windows and the hot-plugging feature to exchange skins.
Creates terrains in a grid. 2D and 3D models are rendered. 3D view can be zoomed, rotated, etc.
User definable island complexity, beach size, shallows and deep water levels, land height, polygon count (smoothness), normalisation of data, etc.
I did this after the pixellate terrain compo finished for a laugh. should compile to all other platforms.
